Carolann founded Dekker Marketing to serve small- to mid-sized businesses, which often struggle with the challenges of rapid growth and the need to adopt more professional cultures and scalable systems. From well-established companies to boutique businesses and start-up ventures, Dekker Marketing advises business leaders how to best leverage existing resources and bring together outside assets to maximize revenue and core operations for optimal success.

Dekker Marketing’s most recent clients include Vistage International, a 15,000-member global CEO networking organization established more than 50 years ago. Carolann and her team conceptualized, developed and launched the Vistage Knowledge Center, an e-commerce store featuring executive tools, assessments and training ; the center is forecasted to generate a 5:1 return within three years of launch. In addition, Carolann conceptualized and produced an exclusive webinar series, Fridays with Vistage, and Vistage Connect, an online scalable version of the company’s off-line offerings.

Prior to founding Dekker Marketing, Carolann was Executive Vice President of Marketing & New Distribution at Robbins Research International, where she initiated the development of new revenue streams and distribution channels for the company’s multimedia events, health products and training programs. During her five-year tenure, she directed the creation and implementation of initiatives geared to achieving sales and profitability goals, researched and analyzed customer behavior and trends, devised and launched new business models and promotional strategies, and managed multimillion-dollar budgets.

As Vice President of Marketing & Strategic Partnerships for Collegeclub.com, Carolann developed an automobile guide and brokered an exclusive three-year deal with General Motors for $15 million in revenue. She also specialized in developing marketing sponsorships for prominent clients including the Super Bowl XXXII Host Committee and America’s Cup ’95; she cultivated relationships with high-profile prospects and secured and managed strategic partnerships with companies including General Motors, Hewlett Packard, Sprint, Miller and Coca-Cola.

As National Marketing Director for Schwann Sales Enterprises, Carolann created marketing initiatives that generated millions of dollars in sales and promoted key brands, including Chicago Brothers Pizza, for this multibillion-dollar enterprise.

Carolann holds a bachelors degree in International Business Marketing from San Diego State University, where she also completed advanced Marketing/MBA graduate coursework. She and her husband, Jon, currently reside in San Diego, California.
